The 24th annual Scott Haug Hill Country Audiology Retreat, “GO SATE in ’08!,” is scheduled for September 25 through 28, at the T Bar M Ranch and Resort in New Braunfels, Texas.

This year’s team of speakers includes Don Schum, PhD, who will lecture on “Speech Understanding in Complex Environments: Technology & the Brain.” Robert Sweetow, PhD, will present "Clinical Management of Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Patients," and William Shapiro AuD reviews “Cochlear Implantation: Candidacy and Outcome Measures.”

Rose Minnete, MA, will provide an update on resources and Assistive Listening Devices now available, with Paul Dybala, PhD, presenting “Ten Million Reasons to Think About the Internet, Marketing and your Audiology Website”

Conference participants will be given a chance to show off the school colors of their alma maters in a number of ways that include a golf scramble, tubing on the Comal River, or during the ‘GO STATE in ‘08” theme dance.
