Titled “The Latest Buzz on Tinnitus,’ the New Jersey Academy of Audiology’s 4th Annual Meeting will focus on tinnitus assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including the potential benefit of patient support groups for patients with pulsatile and tonal tinnitus.
Featured speakers for the event, being held Friday, October 26, 2012, at Montclair State University, will include:
- Sharon Sandridge, PhD, director of Audiology Clinical Services and co-director of the Tinnitus Management Clinic and Audiology Research Lab, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
- Anil Lalwani, MD, director of Otology and Neurology, and Columbia Cochlear Implant Program, University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Department of Otolaryngology, New York,
- Dhyan Cassie, AuD, coordinator of tinnitus/hyperacusis Clinic at ENT Associates, Haddonfield, N.J, and board member of the American Tinnitus Association.
The event will also include audiology student poster presentations and product exhibits.
