Fuel Medical Group announced the addition of Rose DuLude, PhD, to their team as the new manager of training and development. DuLude is said to be an experienced clinical audiologist who will offer training and consulting services in this new role.

DuLude joined Fuel’s Professional Development Team in the Fall of 2018. The Professional Development Team is part of Fuel’s commitment to progressing the education of their members’ staff and health care providers.

“We’re looking forward to having Dr DuLude contribute to further enhancing our EDGE patient protocol and helping strengthen our training and consulting services for our members,” said Fuel’s Director of Professional Development Jim Fedio. “Our goal is to help practices become leaders in their communities while improving efficiency and providing superior patient care.”

DuLude began her audiology training with Mt Sinai, St Vincent’s, and Manhattan VA hospitals, focusing on electrophysiological assessment and aural rehabilitation. Her experience in private practice includes working in audiology departments for large physician groups as well as providing services as the sole audiologist for a singular private practice physician. Partnering with otolaryngologists and neurotologists, her management experience includes the directorship of Advanced Hearing Consultants and Noise and Hearing Consultants of America.

DuLude founded AudiologyIS, an audiology-specific, national training company teaching survival skills to hearing health practitioners, including a step-by-step methodology that’s said to increase treatment rates and ASP and decrease returns. A frequent convention lecturer and webinar host, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence.
