EarQ has announced that Widex will add its hearing devices to the EarQ line of products in spring 2016, helping EarQ offer an advanced line of hearing technology.

WidexThroughout its history, reports EarQ, a network of independent healthcare practice owners, it has worked to connect its members to the most advanced hearing device manufacturers in the world, including global leaders Oticon, Siemens, Starkey, and ReSound. Now the company has added Widex as a hearing technology partner.

Founded in Denmark in 1956, Widex is a family-owned company that manufactures advanced hearing technology. To date, the company has launched several products that are widely considered to be revolutionary, such as the first digital in-the-ear hearing aid.

“As a company driven by its values and a firm dedication to equipping practice owners with the advanced technology and innovative resources they need to thrive in their communities, we are very excited by this new partnership with Widex,” said Ed Keller, president of EarQ. “We’re looking forward to the many opportunities ahead for our members and their patients.”

According to EarQ, its partnership with Widex will allow EarQ members to expand their already well-rounded product portfolios and have greater access to sought-after hearing technology such as the Widex CROS, UNIQUE, SUPER, ZEN Therapy, and DREAM. Benefiting from the most up-to-date research and addressing a wide variety of hearing concerns, including single-sided deafness and tinnitus, Widex devices give EarQ members and their patients more choices than before.
