GN reports it has signed an agreement to acquire SteelSeries, a global e-gaming gear developer for a total purchase price of $1.24 billion (DKK 8.0 billion) in cash. The purchase brings the company's Audio division squarely into the gaming market in competition with companies like Logitech, HyperX (HP), and Razer.
