The Interacoustics Academy, the knowledge and training center with Interacoustics, has announced a new series of live webinars to be held during the autumn of 2018. According to Interacoustics’ announcement, the webinars will present the latest advancements in diagnostic audiology and balance, and offers clinicians the chance to gain new clinical insights that can be applied in their daily work.

The four webinars cover a wide range of topics such as gaze stabilization in VNG, oVEMP, integration of diagnostic and functional testing when seeing dizzy patients, and hearing aid selection.

The Academy works closely together with some of the world’s leading audiology and balance researchers and experts, and has engaged with Dr Kamran Barin, PhD, Assistant Professor Emeritus from the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Department of Speech & Hearing Science at the Ohio State University to be the speaker at the first webinar.

The Academy also offers accredited e-learning courses and how-to videos that all aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of clinicians, including the Virtual Clinic online tool, where clinicians and students can meet realistic case presentations.
