GN Otometrics, a leader in hearing and balance diagnostic systems, announces Kyle Kowalewski MS, has been hired to work in the firm’s audiology/education department as a professional trainer. The company reports that in addition to training and support, Kowalewski’s knowledge will contribute to new product development and provide insight to the retail dispensing market. 
 
“Kyle’s audiology background spans 25 years in the audiology field. She has extensive experience with fitting, training and retail hearing aid business,” says Michael Hamacher, vice president and general manager of GN Otometrics, North America. “Establishing a better presence and increasing our market share in the fitting segment of the US business is a high priority and we feel that Kyle’s experience in this area will help us achieve this goal.”

A news release from GN Otometrics states that prior to joining GN Otometrics Kowalewski worked with a Miracle-Ear franchisee in northern Illinois, where she was director of store operations. There, Kowalewski was very involved in office management software training and database management. Prior to that, she has worked for hearing instrument manufacturers and dispensing networks and in capacities of business regional manager, audiological regional manager, professional trainer and special projects manager.

Kyle earned a master’s degree in audiology from Southern Illinois University.
