It was with profound sorrow that Widex Hearing Aid Company learned of the passing of former staff member, colleague, and friend, Patricia Keogh, AuD, affectionately known as “Tricia” to her Widex family. During her employment at Widex from September 1998 through July 2006, Tricia worked in the position of technical support audiologist, providing phone support services to company accounts regarding all aspects of hearing aid selection, programming, and related matters of counseling, software support, etc.  She also made valuable written and investigative contributions to the Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing departments.

Tricia obtained her undergraduate degree at SUNY Albany, her graduate degree from Adelphi University, and while battling Cholangiocarcinoma managed to complete her AuD from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2005. It was with an extraordinary pursuit of knowledge and faith that she never lost hope of a possible cure that would allow her to live a longer and even more productive life.

Tragically on the morning of October 17, 2007 at the age of 37, Tricia lost her battle with cancer.  We mourn her loss but remain thankful for the memorable years spent together.
