Williams Sound has named Media Plus its exclusive commercial sound distribution partner in Japan.

Media Plus, established in 2002, is a professional designer and integrator of A/V and video conferencing systems for clients in the government, financial, education, and manufacturing industries in Japan and Asia. The company is headquartered in Tokyo.

According to Shuji Ozaki, president of Media Plus, the company expects to see new opportunities as a distribution partner for Williams Sound products, especially the company’s Hearing HotSpot, a live audio over Wi-Fi product. “We are quite pleased to be working with Williams Sound, a proven and trusted manufacturer in the global, wireless communications marketplace,” said Ozaki. “Their products complement our other product lines well and will help us provide complete solutions for our customers in Japan.”

Williams Sound’s products include Hearing HotSpot Live Audio via Wi-Fi, Digi-Loop Network-controlled Induction Loop Systems, Digi-Wave Digital Communication Systems, Personal PA FM Listening Systems, Portable Hearing Assistance Tour Guide Systems, and SoundPlus Infrared Systems.
