Sonus has announced several recent promotions that include Jami Tanihana’s move to the newly created position of senior regional manager. In the new position Tanihana will have direct responsibility for the 14 Los Angeles area Sonus clinics and three Northern California clinics. Tanihana will serve as a mentor and manager to new Sonus regional managers.
“We feel strongly that new Regional Managers should be mentored by an expert in the position,” states Rich Whitman, senior director of corporate retail for Sonus. “Jami is perfect for that role, as she can bring her 25 years of experience as an audiologist, business owner and regional manager to this
new position.”
Clay Gililland has been promoted to regional manager for South Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Arizona. Gililland has more than 16 years of experience in the industry. He has owned his own practice, been a provider and a Sonus clinic manager, and was an area sales manager (ASM) for
nearly two years. “Clay’s experience as a provider and ASM gives him an excellent springboard into his new role, in which I am certain he will be successful,” Whitman says. Gililland will assume his new role January 1, 2008.
Randi Monsell was promoted to senior ASM for Canada. In this role, Monsell will have direct supervisory responsibility for all 10 Sonus locations in Canada. Monsell has more than nine years of experience as a provider in Canada, the last 6 and one-half years with Sonus. “Randi is well respected within the industry as a whole in British Columbia. We are lucky to have her on our team,” Whitman says.
