Starkey Laboratories Inc, has announced the recipients of the 2007 William F. Austin Scholarship, awarded annually to five outstanding audiology graduate students. Each of the scholarship winners was chosen from among 65 national applicants to receive academic scholarships of up to $10,000. The scholarship program is part of Starkey University’s educational outreach program.
This year’s s William F. Austin Scholarship recipients are Jacquelyn Baudhuin, graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis; Marguerite Dartt, graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin; Jovana Diggs, graduate student at Arizona State University; Gretchen Magee, graduate student at the University of Oklahoma; and Jenny Miller, graduate student at the University of South Dakota.
Starkey Laboratories announced in a news release it is dedicated to professional advancement through education and recognizes graduate students who choose to pursue clinical, teaching, and research careers in audiology.
