Unitron, Kitchener, Canada, has announced the acceleration of its international growth strategy with the appointment of Vincent Gaggero to the role of general manager at Unitron France. According to the company, Gaggero will be responsible for sales, marketing, and technical and distribution services. He is charged with leading the Unitron brand strategy and growing Unitron market share in France.
“Vincent brings to Unitron a strong customer-centric focus, in-depth account management experience, and extensive management expertise honed in the medical device field at such companies as Johnson & Johnson and Proctor & Gamble,” said Søren Østergaard, vice president, international sales, Unitron. “Under his guidance, we have a tremendous opportunity ahead of us to position Unitron as a top tier brand for hearing healthcare solutions in France.”
In the same announcement, Gaggero noted that Unitron’s focus on the customer experience holds strong appeal for him, and believes that investing in relationships is critical to building longterm loyalty and brand.
