At AudiologyNOW! 2017, Oticon President Gary Rosenblum presented a $25,000 donation to the American Academy of Audiology Foundation’s (AAAF) Empowering Students Scholarship Fund to Therese Walden, AuD, chair, Foundation Board of Trustees. This is the sixth year that Oticon Inc has provided funding that will enable AAAF to award five $5,000 scholarships to graduate students earning AuD or PhD degrees in audiology who show exceptional promise as clinical audiologists.

“Oticon is proud to again partner with the American Academy of Audiology Foundation to empower students who are the future of the profession,” said Rosenblum in a press release. “Our aim is to give deserving students the support they need today to ensure a future of skilled hearing care professionals who share our commitment to always put the needs of people with hearing loss first.”
