Starkey recently unveiled the addition of new products to the Genesis AI product line, as well as new features designed to offer unprecedented benefits to both patients and hearing healthcare professionals, according to Starkey.
“Genesis AI is Starkey’s most advanced hearing technology yet and it’s primed for continued success,” says Achin Bhowmik, PhD, Starkey’s chief technology officer and executive VP of Engineering. “By transforming hearing aids from single function listening enhancement devices into multipurpose health and communication tools with advanced sensors and artificial intelligence technologies, we can offer groundbreaking hearing aids that are having a real impact on people’s lives.”
With Genesis AI, Starkey aims to push artificial intelligence to its limits, enhancing sound perception, personal health monitoring and engagement.
With the recent results of the groundbreaking Aging and Cognitive Health Evaluation in Elders (ACHIEVE) study drawing a link between the use of hearing aids and slowing cognitive decline, it is more important now than ever to offer hearing technology that encourages better social, cognitive, and physical health for those focused on aging-in-place.
