The change is part of continuing efforts to make it easier for patients to identify, locate, and engage with local Sonus Hearing providers. Sonus also recently launched its newly redesigned website, which features an intuitive browsing experience for its visitors and provides relevant and timely information to individuals researching their hearing care alternatives. Using the site’s many interactive features, patients can take an online hearing loss questionnaire, locate nearby providers, make appointments, or schedule free hearing screenings.
“It’s part of our ongoing mission to really reach out to the communities we serve and educate them about hearing health care,” shares Loren Lunsford, AuD, president of Sonus Hearing Care Professionals. “Research shows us that people who wait to get help for their hearing loss have less success and may in fact increase their risk of other things like Alzheimer’s and dementia* so educating people about their hearing health early is critical. We think making it easier for people to find help online is important.”
