Sonic announced it will be at the AudiologyNOW! 2016 conference in Phoenix, Ariz, April 13-16, highlighting for hearing care professionals the company’s combination of wireless hearing devices in five performance levels.

According to Sonic, its popular lineup of wireless hearing aids are built on its Speech Variable Processing Platform, and includes Celebrate, Cheer, and Journey. These hearing aids are available in styles that accommodate a broad range of hearing loss needs, lifestyles, and budgets. Wireless connectivity is standard in all styles from, CICs to BTEs.

“Delivering exactly what the market needs has enabled Sonic to become the fastest growing manufacturer in the hearing care industry today,” said Joseph A. Lugara, president and chief operating officer of Sonic. “Our ability to offer a complete lineup of impressive hearing technologies and innovative programs at attractive price points gives our professional partners a clear advantage in today’s highly competitive marketplace.”

Sonic reports that its new portfolio offers benefits at every performance level, including convenient wireless capabilities for easy connectivity to cell phones, music players, PCs and other devices. Connectivity includes the SoundLink App.

Celebrate has premium technology features, such as Frequency Transfer, Reverb Reduction, and Speech Priority Volume Control, which prioritizes the speech frequencies that patients want to hear. Mid- to entry-level technology in feature-packed Cheer includes a choice of digital signal processing options:  Phoneme Focus, which maintains the individual clarity of sounds; or Envelope Focus which preserves envelope information in the speech signal, helpful for certain populations. Journey is a Super Power BTE that combines power and performance to give people with extreme hearing loss more confidence in day-to-day conversations.

Celebrate, Cheer and Journey share a number of powerful features, according to Sonic, including Speech Variable Processing that helps keep sound natural and speech clear. Frequency Transfer increases audibility for users with high-frequency hearing loss without dramatically compressing the signal. Speech Priority Noise Reduction works to separate speech from surrounding noise for better speech understanding and greater comfort. The Adaptive Feedback Canceller quickly and effectively removes offending feedback signals for squeal-free, easy listening without sacrificing gain.

“This is the most comprehensive portfolio of advanced technology solutions that Sonic has ever offered,” said Lugara. “It is a one-stop destination for hearing solutions that make everyday sounds better for people no matter what their day-to-day situations or hearing needs are. For both our partners and consumers this appears to be a formula for success.”
