At the American Heart Association’s 2013 “Go Red For Women” event, Oticon presented a $10,036 check to the New Jersey American Heart Association (AHA). The donation represents the proceeds from Oticon’s 2012 “At the Heart of It. . .We Put People First” campaign.
During 2012’s American Heart Month last February, Oticon pledged a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Intiga hearing devices to the AHA as part of the heart and hearing health awareness-building program.
Hundreds of hearing care professionals participated in the month-long campaign, encouraging people in communities across the country to take the first steps toward better health and better hearing with professional consultations and evaluations.
At the Go Red launch party, AHA also recognized Oticon as “Best of the Best” Supporter.
