October 16, 2019 will be the day when the “world’s largest convention of hearing care professionals” opens its gates to present current know-how, the latest in technology, and a new format on Friday, according to an announcement by The European Union of the Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA).
The EUHA 64th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians is scheduled to be held in Nuremberg, Germany, between October 16-18, 2019. Its focus will be on forward-looking issues from the fields of artificial intelligence, digitization, and innovative sensor technology. The conference schedule includes more than 20 expert lectures and six tutorials, presented by internationally renowned speakers.
“The industry exhibition will be larger than ever, featuring almost 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest in hearing technology as well as innovations from diagnostics and accessories, on a gross floor space of some 15,000 square meters,” said Dr Stefan Zimmer, Chairman of the Board of the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (BVHI).
The new format for Friday will be debuted as “Future Friday.” The day will start with fast-track presentations in the morning and activities at the exhibition stands. When the trade exhibition closes at 2 pm, speakers in a special part of the program will be dealing with future-oriented topics from the hearing aid industry. Details can be found on the EUHA app, which also provides the floor plan as well as information on the conference program and exhibitors.
Beate Gromke, President of the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA), invites delegates to personally join the EUHA at the conference as well as to follow the organizers on Facebook.
