The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development (JRRD) has released Volume 45, Issue 5—a special issue on cochlear prostheses for adults with hearing impairments.

Hearing loss is among the most common disabilities affecting veterans, making this issue particularly relevant for OEF/OIF veterans. Harry Levitt, PhD, National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research, Portland, Ore, guest-edited the volume.
