Cochlear Americas, Centennial, Colo, is offering users of Nucleus Freedom, its previous generation cochlear implants, the ability to upgrade to the new Cochlear Nucleus 5 system, which is immediately compatible with users’ current internal implants.
The new system features the company’s smallest sound processor, a two-way remote assistant, exclusive dual microphone technology with ZOOM power option, and AutoPhone, an automatic phone detection through auto telecoil for user-friendly phone connection.
Nucleus 5 was introduced in September, and the company is incentivizing customers to take advantage of the upgrade.
