Phonak has announced the extension of the Infinio family with Audéo Sphere Infinio now available through Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. Available to both veterans and active military, Sphere is the world’s first hearing aid powered by a dedicated real-time AI chip for speech-from-noise separation, according to the company.  

Building on the Infinio platform, Audéo Sphere Infinio was first launched in August 2024. Made to offering exceptional speech clarity from any direction, Sphere filters out noise from speech, allowing users to engage with friends, family members, or colleagues even in the noisiest environments. Phonak is applying AI/DNN to sound processing using a dedicated AI chip, DeepSonic. It separates unwanted noise from speech to deliver a level of clean and clear speech far beyond any existing technology, according to Phonak.
