The new in-the-canal Delight model is priced at $369 and designed to address user abandonment due to physical discomfort.
Elehear has announced the launch of Delight, an over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid priced at $369, with a design focused on providing all-day comfort for users.
According to the company, the Delight was developed to address inconsistent use or device abandonment resulting from discomfort during extended wear. The in-the-canal (ITC) device features an ergonomic structure designed to align with the ear’s contours, supporting more than 10 hours of continuous wear without pressure fatigue.
The launch represents a continued shift in the hearing aid market toward more accessible price points for consumers, according to Elehear.
“At Elehear, our mission Hear The Future is about more than innovation,” says David Hogan, managing director of Elehear, in a release. “It’s about social equality. Everyone deserves the ability to participate confidently in conversations, relationships, and everyday life — without stigma and without financial strain.”
Elehear states that by prioritizing ergonomic design, the company aims to remove the physical experience of wearing a hearing device as a barrier to adoption for adults who may delay seeking help due to cost or discomfort.
The Delight is offered with a 45-day risk-free trial and a one-year warranty.
