Two industry manufacturers are teaming up again to offer cochlear implant users exceptional sound quality devices available today. The ClearSounds QUATTRO4.0 Amplified Bluetooth Neckloop with removable Bluetooth microphone will continue to be included with the purchase of MED-EL’s RONDO audio processor. Giving the RONDO even more flexibility in sound control, the QUATTRO4.0 is designed to allow RONDO users to enjoy enhanced music, television, and phone conversations, with its new Bluetooth v4.0 technology and an award-winning removable microphone that is also designed to enhance conversations in any environment.

The QUATTRO4.0 now incorporates touch-screen technology and can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. According to the company, it pairs with any Bluetooth-enabled device, has a removable microphone and a 30 dB adjustable amplification range, and with its new 8 core loop reduces or eliminates interference between cellular phones and hearing aids and cochlear implant audio processors. Users can experience the QUATTRO4.0’s enhanced audio processing for up to 4 hours of talk time with its lithium ion rechargeable battery.

“MED-EL has been the leader of the implantable hearing device industry for more than 30 years, and we are extremely pleased that they have chosen to continue to offer their customers our new QUATTRO4.0 with their popular RONDO device,” says Michele Ahlman, president of ClearSounds. “Our all-new QUATTRO4.0 is built from the ground up and our combined technologies will allow people to move beyond many sound barriers they may encounter, helping to improve their daily lives.”
