Grason-Stadler (GSI) has introduced the GSI AudioStar Pro, a new flexible two-channel audiometer that can be used independently or with a computer, providing testing features for complete audiometric evaluations on every patient population. GSI AudioStar

AudioStar Pro features user-friendly, one-button, one-function front panel operation; a control panel for hand placement; lighting around selected test buttons; and a large high resolution display screen designed to reduce eye strain and provide clinicians with immediate access to audiometric results.

The AudioStar Pro also includes configurable test keys that allow access to protocols that are customized to clinic preferences. Tests are pre-programmed to optimize efficiency and workflow. Complete with integrated wordlists, the unit can also facilitate repeatable and reliable recorded speech testing. It also comes with a mouse control that allows the operator to easily present, pause, repeat, skip, and score.

Additional speech-in-noise tests and wordlists can be loaded directly from a flash drive, and a built-in auxiliary intercom allows direct communication between operator and assistant, eliminating the need for an external intercom system. Additionally, built-in VRA controls can activate the clinic’s VRA systems.

Complete audiometric results may be transferred to software, such as GSI Suite™ and NOAH, or integrated directly with EMR/EHR systems.

More details are available through GSI.
