I have had my sonic cheer 20 for almost a year. I am unable to understand lyrics from music and songs. Overall, it serves its purpose but the wax guards are very costly. To do it again, I would buy a hearing aid that you can clean by passing wax guards.
This will be the 3rd brand I’ve tried. Spent from $6000 on down and will have to say that these are by far the BEST yet!
Can’t believe it was as simple as answering a few questions over the phone and hey were perfect when I began wearing them!

I have been interested In the Cheer 20, but I have not yet seen too much of the technical features the miniRITE,and or the price.

Me chamo Mônica Millet, 57anos, percussionista, professora de percussão para deficientes auditivos, APADA (Associação de país e amigos do deficiente auditivo) na cidade de Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. Sou portadora de deficiência auditiva no 2 ouvidos. Uso aparelho no ouvido esquerdo. O maior problema que vivo em um país de clima tropical, muito calor transpiro muito, a humidade danifica o aparelho mais rapidamente. Gostaria se possível, ter uma linha de aparelhos para países tropicais
Gostaria também que fosse criado o aparelho sensitivo do corpo, ou seja o som sai do instrumento ou fonte sonora e transmite ao corpo da criança surda. Nosso corpo é capaz de perceber as vibrações sonoras só precisamos ampliar as frequências Hz.
Faço essa experiência com meus alunos na percussão, e gostaria de ampliar para instrumentos mais leves, como flauta, violino, piano, acordeon. Sei que é possível só precisamos da sua ajuda.

My name is Monica Millet, I am 57 years old, a percussionist and percussion teacher for the deaf with APADA (country Association and friends of the hearing impaired ) in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. I have hearing loss in both ears. I use a device in my left ear. The biggest problem is that we live in a country with a tropical climate. The heat, perspiration, and moisture damages the device faster. I would like, if possible, to have a line of devices for tropical countries. I would also like to develop a sensory apparatus of the body, that transmits the sound of the instrument or sound source via the body for a deaf child. Our body is able to perceive sound vibrations–we only need to extend the frequency Hz. I have experienced this with my students on percussion, and I would like to extend it for lighter instruments such as flute, violin, piano, and accordion. I know it’s possible, I/we just need your help.
