Naerum, Denmark — Ida Institute, a non-profit independent educational institute, today announced the appointment of Timothy Cooke as Web content editor and Ena Nielsen as Project Manager.

In his new role, Cooke will manage content on the Ida Institute’s award-winning Web site, idainstitute.com. His responsibilities include developing Web site content, managing the Institute’s online forum, and expanding the Institute’s social media presence.

Cooke (pictured right) brings over 5 years of experience in the areas of Web content development and project management to Ida Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, he developed and managed long-term partnerships between the US Department of Defense and academic institutions in the United States and Europe, utilizing the Web and social media to maintain a network of partners.

Ena Nielsen (pictured left) joins Ida Institute as a project manager, managing the Institute’s tools development, launches, and marketing strategies. She will also contribute to development of Institute seminars and other outreach activities.

Nielsen comes to Ida Institute from Deloitte with over 10 years of experience in communications and learning development and design in the area of corporate social responsibility. She has also worked in educational publishing in the UK and has experience with university-level teaching at the Universities of Copenhagen and Oxford.

The new team members replace Anders Sloth and Eva Marianne Nielsen, who have completed their work on the development and launch of Ida’s e-Learning Laboratory.
