Chadds Ford, Pa, — American Hearing Aid Associates (AHAA) will be holding the hearing health organization’s 16th Annual Convention, February 1 – 4, 2012, in Orlando, Fla, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel. Over 400 hearing health care professionals in AHAA’s member network are expected to attend, as well as non-members.

“Each year, associates who attend go home with new ideas for growing and improving all aspects of their practices,” said Tina Soika, president of AHAA. “They do this through networking and coaching, hence this year’s convention theme: ‘Connect-Learn-Grow.’ ”

As part of that theme, AHAA speakers will be sharing their insights on the industry’s current and future status, and there will also be networking sessions for peer-to-peer discussions. Additionally, major manufacturers will be exhibiting and presenting workshops on their latest technology and products.

The convention’s program will also reportedly offer nearly 40 ASHA, AAA, and IHS-approved sessions, with CEUs granted. Topics will cover the interests of hearing health CEOs/owners, practice managers, hearing health care professionals, telemarketing, front office personnel, and practice development representatives.
