UntronTopEmployBSME logo_2014_color Unitron, the Kitchener, Canada-based hearing instruments creator, has been named one of the top 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada for the fourth year. The company was cited for leadership, social responsibility, and cultural diversity.

The study by Queen’s School of Business, Queen’s Centre for Business, and Aon Hewitt, now in its 10th year, is published annually in PROFIT Magazine.  It rates employers based on input from their own employees and attracts participation from public and private companies with 50 to 399 employees spanning all major industries and regions.

Unitron’s global organization has 21 offices and distribution in more than 60 countries. The company employs 175 people at its global and Canadian headquarters. More than 30% of Unitron employees have been with the company for a decade, and the company employs individuals from as many as 18 different countries.
