Starkey announced that President and CEO Brandon Sawalich has been named the Silver Globee Winner for CEO of the Year in the Manufacturing category of the 2021 CEO World Awards. CEO World Awards “celebrate the achievements of leaders, executives, and their management teams behind the year’s most outstanding initiatives and achievements.” Chief Executive Officers lead the development of the organization’s short- and long-term strategy. This annual awards program recognizes individuals and teams who set industry benchmarks for excellence. All organizations private or public, corporations, nonprofits, associations, vendors, and government organizations worldwide and from every industry are eligible to participate. Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores and inputs determined the 2021 award winners.
“As the only American-owned hearing aid manufacturer, I am very proud of this recognition,” said Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich. “Starkey’s rich tradition of craftsmanship is beyond compare. The industry’s smallest 2.4 GHz CIC, which requires handcrafted excellence to create and manufacture, is proof of that. This award belongs to our entire team for continuing to make the impossible, possible.”
Starkey recently released Evolv AI – the hearing industry’s “most innovative line of hearings aids to-date.” It includes the industry’s “smallest 2.4 GHz CIC, which is packed with powerful technology.” Every single hour, for example, an Evolv AI hearing device automatically makes 55 million adjustments. The combination of features helps “create an effortless hearing experience for users.”
