Starkey announced that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Minnesota and North Dakota has named it a winner of the 2022 BBB Torch Award for Ethics. The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics honors organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character, ensure that the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics, and consequently, generate trust with their customers and the community, according to the announcement.

“Starkey’s mission is to serve our customers better than anyone else, but there’s a much deeper meaning to that seemingly simple statement,” said Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich. “Our customers are our partners in helping people around the world hear better, so they can live better lives. Starkey’s ground-breaking hearing aid technology may provide the best sound quality on the market, but without our customers, it wouldn’t reach the ears of patients who need them most. While we are grateful for this prestigious recognition, we accept it on behalf of our partners and staff in better hearing, and thank them for continuing to put their trust in Starkey.”

In honor of this BBB Torch Awards for Ethics, Starkey matched the scholarships for the four student recipients of the Better Business Bureau’s annual scholarship program recognizing Students of Integrity.
