The Rooted & Regulated Retreat will offer mind/body practices and nervous system regulation tools for hearing healthcare professionals.
An immersive retreat for audiologists, tinnitus professionals, and hearing healthcare providers will take place June 13–17, 2026, in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. The Rooted & Regulated Retreat is a three-day program centered on nervous system regulation, integrative tinnitus care, and clinician wellbeing.
The event is designed for professionals seeking to deepen their approach to tinnitus management while also addressing burnout, stress, and emotional regulation. It combines evidence-informed mind/body practices with experiential learning.
“Many of us entered hearing healthcare to help people heal,” says retreat organizer and audiologist Dr Judy Huch, in a release. “But so many clinicians are running on empty themselves. This retreat is about learning tools that support both the patient and the provider.”
Program Focus and Objectives
The retreat curriculum will cover nervous system regulation techniques, mind/body medicine practices, stress reduction exercises, and integrative approaches to tinnitus support. The program also includes reflective experiences and dedicated personal renewal time for attendees.
The event’s structure is intentionally limited in size to facilitate interaction among participants. Organizers state that attendees do not need prior experience in mindfulness, meditation, or integrative care to participate.
“What I thought would simply help me support others ended up transforming my own life,” Dr Huch says in the release. “I discovered practical tools for grounding, regulation, emotional processing, and resilience that I immediately realized could benefit clinicians and tinnitus patients alike.”
Intended Audience and Registration
The retreat is designed for audiologists, tinnitus specialists, hearing healthcare professionals, and integrative health practitioners seeking personal restoration and professional growth.
“Once the healer is healed, we are able to better help others collect the tools to heal themselves,” Dr Huch says.
Space for the Rooted & Regulated Retreat is limited. For additional information or registration details, contact Baylee Smith at [email protected].
