The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), an advisory group of the nation’s leading scientists and engineers who directly advise the President and the Executive Office of the President, will be holding a public meeting on September 18, 2015 to discuss “PCAST Technology to Help People as They Age: Hearing Technologies” at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET).
The September 18 pubic meeting is now open for online registration. Although registration is not required to attend, seating is limited, and preference will be given to those who registered in advance online.
For those wishing to attend this meeting in person, the meeting is located at the National Academy of Sciences, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC: Lecture Room.
This meeting is also available online via a Webcast Link, which will go live on the day of the meeting.
After welcoming remarks from the PCAST Co-chairs, and a PCAST Technology and the Future Cities study update, the “PCAST Technology to Help People as They Age: Hearing Technologies Discussion” will commence at 10:20 AM (ET), and will include PCAST presenters Eric Lander, Bill Press, Chris Cassel, Ed Penhoet, and Susan Graham.
