Cochlear Limited—a Sydney, Australia-based company that designs and manufactures cochlear implants—is partnering with Apple to reportedly create the world’s first iPhone-compatible cochlear implant, according to a video report on CNN.
According to the CNN report, the Nucleus Cochlear implant will allow users direct streaming of music, calls, and movies, similar to the features that modern hearing aids are currently equipped with.
