Charlotte, NC — Cochlear Americas is conducting a free hearing heath fair Saturday, May 14 in Charlotte, NC, and another in Raleigh on June 4. The fair is designed for those with hearing loss who may be struggling with hearing aids and may benefit from cochlear implant and bone anchored devices.  

The event will include captioned informational sessions with experienced medical professionals from the greater Charlotte area, who will educate attendees about the causes of hearing loss.

Attendees will also learn about the latest available treatment options, including cochlear implants and bone anchored hearing solutions.

Beyond the science, attendees will also have a unique opportunity to meet cochlear implant users and hear their experiences with the devices.

10:15 – 11:15 AM – Life With a Cochlear Implant

Learn about living with cochlear implants and hear inspirational stories of others who have successfully had their hearing restored with a cochlear implant. There will also be an audience Q&A.

11:45 AM – 1:30 PM – Surgeon and Cochlear Implant User Panel

Panel discussion with cochlear implant surgeons and cochlear implant users.

1:30 – 2:00 PM – Meet and Greet

One-on-one time with professionals and cochlear implant users.
