Oticon, Inc, has unveiled www.myoticon.com, a Web site designed to assist hearing care professionals in organizing, tracking and processing patient accounts and preferences.

A news release from Oticon reports that the new site enables practitioners to input and update account information, practice profiles, user preferences, password control and authorized users as well as obtain contact information for Oticon account team members, BTEs and accessories ordering, ITE reservations and instrument history and order tracking.

“Our goal is to provide hearing care professionals with the tools they need to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their practices,” says Gordon Wilson, vice president of marketing, Oticon, Inc. “The new www.myoticon.com Web site gives practitioners a turn-key system that will increase efficiencies and is user-friendly for all authorized staff members. We plan to continue to update and increase the website functionalities.”

Other features of the new Web site include functions to track DHL shipments and view invoices and credit memos as well as proprietary access to Oticon news, events and research updates, according to the Oticon release. The Web site can be accessed directly or via www.oticonusa.com.

According to Oticon, www.myoticon.com is a free service available to all Oticon account holders. To acquire a user ID and password, hearing care professionals may click REQUEST A USER ID and PASSWORD and submit email address, name, and phone and account numbers.
