Workplace Medical Corp. (WMC)—an Ontario, Canada-based company that provides comprehensive medical services to companies— announced that it has expanded its Mobile Hearing Testing services into the province of Québec. WMC will be showcasing these services in their new state-of-the-art mobile trucks at Le Grand Rendez-vous Santé et Securité du Travail on November 15 and 16 in Montreal.
According to WMC, the Mobile Hearing Testing service allows for companies to provide hearing testing for their employees on-site, which is designed to save companies time and money. WMC’s custom-built trucks are equipped with six individual hearing booths in an office environment, according to WMC.
Mobile Hearing Testing service is one part of a complete hearing conservation program; a complete hearing conservation program also includes noise surveys, education, and custom hearing protection, according to the company’s announcement.
William Shapiro, president and CEO of Workplace Medical Corp., was excited to announce the expansion. “Québec employers are greatly underserviced for mobile hearing testing compared to other provinces. We look forward to the opportunity to help Québec companies protect their employees from noise-induced hearing loss.”
He also announced a new partnership with Québec’s Polyclinique de l’Oreille to provide follow-up audiological testing when required.
