Hawkesbury, Ontario — Helix Hearing Care Centre, a hearing health clinic, is hosting tinnitus management events in various communities across Ontario, Canada.
The first event, hosted at Helix Hearing Care Centre in Windsor, was reportedly attended by a significant number of residents suffering from the condition.
Dina Butler, regional manager for Helix in the Windsor area, says in the company press release that once she advertised the event in her community, “the phone did not stop ringing with patients looking to RSVP to the event. We were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people seeking relief.”
Other Helix clinics in Ontario will soon be holding their own tinnitus management events between January and May of 2011. The Helix clinics include Peterborough, Burlington, Hawkesbury, Lindsay, Perth, and others.
All such events will have Helix’s hearing care professionals available to discuss treatment methods such as counseling and sound stimulation.
