Unitron Hearing, Plymouth, Minn, has introduced myStyle, a comprehensive digital hearing instrument style and color selector that lets consumers see how various styles and colors will appear when worn, before making a purchase.
The customer and/or hearing health professional can choose any device style and colors offered by the company and apply the choices to view on the ear from various angles for all hearing instrument models (ITE, BTE, Moxi, and Moda II).
Customers select a shell style, which can be rotated it 360 degrees and zoom in closer to see how the hearing instrument looks on the ear. Styles and colors can be changed to automatically update the model for all views.
In addition to making Web availability, the product has been incorporated into U:fit, the company’s fitting software. A demonstration version is available for hearing health care professionals to display in their office.
