ReSound, Bloomington, Minn, has been chosen as one of the suppliers for the new Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Digital Hearing Aid Contract, says a statement from the company.
The contract takes effect November 1, at which time ReSound products will be available to veterans through the VA clinics.
The contract also includes the Department of Defense and other federal agencies within the 50 states, Washington, and Puerto Rico, says the statement. Under the previous contract, ReSound technology was offered through its sister brand, Interton.
ReSound develops technology and solutions to improve the quality of life worldwide for those who are hearing-impaired.
