Copenhagen — In the fourth quarter of 2010, GN Store Nord A/S, the parent company of hearing aid manufacturer GN ReSound, reported that its organic revenue growth increased to 10% in the fourth quarter of 2010 compared to Q4 2009.

The company said in a press release that the growth was in part due to last year’s successful launch of the ReSound Alera (pictured right), the company’s wireless hearing aid line.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Per Wold-Olsen said in the press statement, “I am pleased to conclude that we have delivered on our targets for 2010. Not only did we raise the financial guidance three times during the year and delivered on the new guidance, we also delivered on our innovation objectives by re-positioning GN as a forceful competitor in the hearing aid, headset, and Unified Communications.”

For 2011, the company is expecting more than 4% organic growth of its hearing aid division.

More details of the entire company’s revenue growth are available on the GN Store Nord Web site.
