Starkey Laboratories Inc, Eden Prairie, Minn, recently hosted Starkey 2008-2018: Voyage into the Future at the Géode in Paris, spotlighting the company’s evidence-based design, projects underway at its Hearing Research Center, and an overview of its research philosophy.

“This was a momentous event for Starkey,” says Phil Lyons, VP of international operations. “We had the opportunity to share our vision of the future with key opinion leaders from around Europe, and do it in the City of Science—what could be better?”

The main speakers were Jerry Ruzicka, the company’s president, Tim Trine, chief technical officer, and Brent Edwards, VP of research and development. Attendees hailed from France, Germany, Italy, England, Canada, and the United States.
