Oticon, Inc announces the appointment of Leanne Blair as Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, Blair will be responsible for Oticon’s overall marketing strategy, overseeing product management, campaign development, advertising, and public relations initiatives .
Blair joins the Oticon leadership team with more than 20 years of marketing and business leadership experience at leading healthcare, personal care, and food companies including Bayer, Merck, Kraft, and Nabisco. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing at Bayer where she led the flagship Bayer Aspirin brand and the Cough/Cold portfolio (including brands such as Alka-Seltzer Plus, Afrin, and Coricidin HBP), reportedly “the largest business group” in the US Bayer Consumer Health division.

In addition to US marketing positions, Blair’s prior experience includes leading Merck Consumer Care’s Global Consumer Insight market research team. She also served as Country Division Head/General Manager of Merck Consumer Care division in Australia and New Zealand where she led the Sales and Marketing organization.
Blair holds a Master of Business Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Washington. She will be based in Oticon’s US headquarters in Somerset, NJ and will report to Oticon President Gary Rosenblum.
