In a deal underlining “the increasing importance of scalable, digital processes for clinics in the multibillion-dollar allergy space,” Audigy Group LLC announced that it has sold its allergy-management platform, Clarity, to Xtract Solutions. The sale, which closed this week, further expands Xtract’s line of cloud-based immunotherapy software and allows Audigy to focus on its core business of audiology and ENT practice-management solutions. It also launches a critical partnership between the two companies.

“It’s the right move at the right time for all the right reasons,” said Audigy CEO Mason Walker. “We created a leading product that has helped allergy and immunology practices across the US, and we’re excited to see it join a whole family of solutions dedicated to optimal allergy care.”

Clarity, designed by allergy experts for practices seeking to build, optimize, and grow their immunotherapy divisions, debuted in 2017. The web-based comprehensive software solution walks medical staff through all aspects of a clinic’s allergy protocol, “boosting efficiency, increasing productivity, and improving patient safety.”

As Clarity’s next era begins, both companies will collaborate in “delivering a continued premier experience,” including Audigy member access to Xtract’s allergy software support. “This partnership brings together two companies dedicated to delivering incredible value,” said Audigy President Kim Gilmore. “We’re proud to develop innovations that help practices provide the best in patient care.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be immaterial to revenue and earnings this year and subject to customary closing conditions.
