Amplifon, a provider in hearing care services and solutions, has surpassed 130 stores across Canada as it strengthens its presence in Alberta through the acquisition, earlier this year, of Living Sounds Hearing Centre, with 20 clinics in the province – operating mostly in the Edmonton area.

Amplifon says it will now bring its global expertise to communities in and around Alberta.

“We are thrilled to join hands with the Living Sounds’ clinics and professionals to support this community with their hearing loss needs,” says Diego Alejandre, general manager for Amplifon Canada. “Historically, there has been a stigma surrounding hearing difficulties, and some people found it hard to open up about their challenges. However, with the progression of technology, combined with the empathy, expert care, and the attention of our hearing care professionals, we hope to help lessen that stigma and ensure as many people as possible are able to rediscover the joy of better hearing.”
