Steps to a Cochlear Implant – This step-by- step guide walks potential patients and their families through the process of receiving a cochlear implant.
Insurance – Guides to health insurance that discuss the types of insurance and coverage available for cochlear implantation, including options for people under age 65 who don’t have health insurance coverage.
Pediatric Habilitation Following Cochlear Implantation (CI) – Explores appropriate speech/language habilitation services for children following cochlear implantation. This document is helpful in explaining the need for appropriate habilitation for children post-CI. A recommended habilitation standard, based upon published studies, is provided.
Research Findings – Proceedings summarizing clinical research presented at ACI Alliance conferences explores a range of topics including medical, surgical, audiological, educational, (re)habilitation, quality of life, cost effectiveness, and other aspects of cochlear implantation. These include:
