AudiologyNOW! 2007, the annual event of the American Academy of Audiology will take place April 18-21 in Denver with a focus on hearing loss prevention. Attendees can expect to preview the latest technologies, gather information on groundbreaking discoveries, and learn state-of-the-art procedures for diagnosing and treating hearing loss and balance disorders.

A full slate of learning modules, featured sessions, discussion groups, interactive learning labs and special events is planned.

This year’s educational highlight is the introduction of four dedicated areas of concentration called SuperTracks: Hearing Loss Prevention, Pediatrics, Sensory Technology and Vestibular Issues.

“Denver provides a state-of-the art convention center, quality restaurants, great nightlife, and is easily walkable. The setting is spectacular with its prominent mountain views,” AudiologyNOW! 2007 Program Chair Sharon Sandridge, said. “With so many audiology programs within the state, it will feel like coming home to many past students.”

This year’s AudiologySolutions (Expo) at the Colorado Convention Center will have more than 200 exhibitors and 100,000 square feet of exhibits that feature the newest products and technology in the field.

There are plans for an interactive and educational area open to the public during the event that will encourage learning about hearing health and hearing loss prevention. For more information visit audiologyNOW.org
