On Saturday, July 26, at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill, official home of the Chicago Bears’ training camp, members of the EarQ team, including several of its hearing healthcare providers, participated in a community health fair by offering free hearing health screenings, and answering questions that attendees had about their hearing health or today’s advanced hearing technology.

Audiologists from Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center, Loyola University Medical Center, and the Chicago Hearing Society performed hearing health screenings. They also offered video ear inspections and earwax removal to the adults and children in attendance.

“It is truly inspiring to see the passion and energy provided by Bears Care, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet, and the audiologists who volunteered their time and expertise to provide such wonderful services,” says Clifford Carey, communications director of EarQ. “With these types of partnerships, we hope to raise greater awareness for hearing loss and its appropriate solutions and to inspire the four in five Americans with untreated hearing difficulties to act.”
