K. Todd Houston, PhD, has stepped down as the executive director of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell). The announcement was made Jan. 30 by the association’s board of directors which will meet again Feb. 9-11 to finalize a transition plan.
“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the association as the executive director and I look forward to continuing my involvement in a volunteer capacity,” Houston said.
Board of directors president, Karen Youdelman, said Houston joined AG Bell at a critical time and his efforts to encourage industry collaboration on issues related to childhood hearing loss were instrumental in positioning the organization for future growth. “We wish him well in his new endeavors,” Youdelman said.
