Are one million dependents with hearing loss in America being left behind? The Better Hearing Institute (BHI) has published a 12 point platform calling for enhanced hearing health care for America’s children with hearing loss.
The not-for-profit organization is in the process of recruiting a Pediatric Advisory Council to assist in its long-term educational efforts with the media on these issues.
Deidre Down, Miss America 2005, and pediatrician-in-training, has agreed to be the BHI ambassador on children’s issues.
