The International Hearing Society has debuted a monthly podcast aimed at connecting hearing healthcare professionals with clinical insights, business strategies, and advocacy updates—with the inaugural episode featuring a conversation with a 30-year industry veteran. The International Hearing Society (IHS) has launched The Hearing Professional, a new monthly podcast designed to extend the organization's educational mission and serve as a resource for hearing healthcare professionals navigating an evolving industry landscape. The podcast debuted July 20 with an episode featuring Patrick Kochanowski, BS, BC-HIS, owner of KHIC, Inc, a Miracle-Ear franchise and past president of IHS. Kochanowski discusses his transition from employee to practice owner, the lessons he learned along the way, and the aspects of hearing care that have remained constant across his three decades in the field. The podcast is co-hosted by IHS president Michael Andreozzi, BS, BC-HIS, and IHS executive director Alissa Parady, CAE.
